Thank you for choosing Daisy Belle Bakery. As a home-based cottage bakery serving the Upper Marlboro, Maryland area, we are committed to creating beautiful, high-quality desserts. Please review the following terms and conditions before placing your order.

General Information

Daisy Belle Bakery operates under Maryland’s cottage food laws. All items are made in a private home that is not subject to state food safety inspections.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

Ordering & Payment

  • Lead Time: We ask for a minimum of 2–4 weeks’ notice for custom cakes and 2–3 months for wedding orders.
    Rush orders may be accepted based on availability and may incur an additional fee.

  • Deposits: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. No order is confirmed without a deposit.

  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due no later than one week prior to your pickup or delivery date. Orders not paid in full may be canceled.

  • Payment Methods: We accept most major credit and debit cards via secure invoice, as well as Zelle and other approved options.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • All deposits are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations made at least 7 days in advance may be eligible for credit toward a future order, depending on the circumstances.

  • Cancellations within 7 days of the event are not eligible for refund or credit.

  • No refunds are issued for completed orders once they’ve been picked up or delivered.

Pickup & Delivery

  • Pickup: Specific pickup details will be shared once your order is confirmed. Please be on time, as our baked goods are made fresh and scheduled accordingly.

  • Delivery: Local delivery is available for weddings and special events for an additional fee. Delivery availability is limited and based on distance and schedule.

  • Once your order has been picked up or delivered, Daisy Belle Bakery is not responsible for any damages that occur during transport or after setup.

Allergies & Kitchen Information

Our treats are made in a home kitchen that uses ingredients like dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, and nuts. We do not offer gluten-free, vegan, or allergen-free items at this time, and we cannot guarantee any product is free from cross-contact.

Shipping

We do not offer shipping. All orders must be picked up locally or delivered within our service area.

Photos & Promotions

We love sharing the work we create! Unless requested otherwise, Daisy Belle Bakery reserves the right to photograph your order and use images for social media, marketing, or our website. If you prefer that your cake or treats not be photographed, just let us know in advance.

Policy Updates

These terms may be updated at any time without prior notice. The most recent version will always be available on our website. By placing an order, you agree to the current terms at the time of purchase.
